Terms of Service

By downloading or using Airlog (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use the app.


1. Introduction and Acceptance


1.1 Ownership
Airlog and all associated content, trademarks, and intellectual property rights are owned or licensed by Airlog LTD, a company incorporated in the Cyprus (“we,” “us,” or “our”). You are prohibited from copying, modifying, or tampering with any part of the app or our trademarks. You agree not to extract source code, translate the app, or otherwise attempt to derive or create derivative works from it.


1.2 License
We license Airlog to you for personal, non-commercial use only. This license is limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable. The app is licensed, not sold.


1.3 Age Requirements
You must be at least 16 years of age (or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian) to use Airlog. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.


1.4 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Airlog, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any future modifications. If you do not agree, do not use the app.


2. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

2.1 Overview
Airlog may offer premium features or additional content through in-app purchases (“IAPs”), such as monthly or yearly subscriptions. In-app purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store under its terms of service.


2.2 Subscription Details

  • Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your App Store account settings.

  • You will not receive a refund for fees paid in advance if you cancel mid-subscription; you will retain premium access until the end of your current billing cycle.


2.3 Pricing and Changes
Prices for in-app purchases or subscriptions may change. We will notify you of any changes in a clear manner (for instance, via App Store updates or within the app). If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.


3. Data Security and Privacy

3.1 On-Device Storage
Airlog does not store or process personal data outside your device. All core computations and data storage occur on-device, with iCloud syncing offered as an optional feature.

3.2 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your device’s security and limiting access to the app. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your device, which may compromise security and app functionality.

3.3 Data Backup
While iCloud syncing or local backups can reduce the risk of data loss, final responsibility for backing up important data (e.g., flight records) rests with you. Airlog is not liable for any loss or corruption of data.

4. Connectivity and Responsibility


4.1 Internet Access
Airlog may require an internet connection to function optimally or to access certain features (e.g., subscriptions, updates, cloud backup). Your mobile network provider may charge for data usage, including roaming charges if you are abroad.


4.2 Limited Liability for Connectivity
Airlog is not responsible for reduced functionality, unavailability, or data loss resulting from a lack of internet access or limited data allowance.


4.3 Bill Payer’s Permission
If you are not the bill payer for the device used to access Airlog, you must obtain permission from the person responsible for paying the bill.

5. Usage Responsibility


5.1 Device Usage and Battery Life
Managing device power and ensuring adequate battery life is your responsibility. Airlog strives to be power-efficient but cannot guarantee that the app’s usage will not impact battery performance.


5.2 App Reliance
Airlog aims to provide accurate and up-to-date functionality but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You should not rely solely on the app for critical decisions, especially those related to aviation.


6. Third-Party Data and External Links


Airlog may integrate or link to third-party data or services to enhance features. We do not control or guarantee the accuracy, adequacy, reliability, or availability of third-party data. Your use of third-party resources is at your own risk, subject to any applicable third-party terms. Airlog disclaims all liability arising from or related to such external content or services.


7. Limitation of Liability


7.1 Scope
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Airlog and its creators, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including (but not limited to) financial loss, personal injury, property damage, or data loss arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the app.


7.2 As Is / As Available
Airlog is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.


7.3 Use at Your Own Risk
Any use of Airlog, including reliance on the information or functionalities provided, is at your own risk. Airlog is not liable for any direct or indirect harm resulting from errors, inaccuracies, or downtime.


8. Indemnification


By using Airlog, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Airlog, its creators, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the app,

  • Your violation of these Terms, or

  • Your violation of any rights of another individual or entity.


9. Updates and Termination


9.1 Updates
We may provide updates, new versions, or upgrades of Airlog. System requirements may change, and you acknowledge that future versions of the app may not be compatible with certain iOS/iPadOS releases. By continuing to use Airlog, you agree to accept updates.


9.2 Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or discontinue Airlog (or any part of it) at any time without notice. Upon termination, any rights or licenses granted to you under these Terms will end immediately.


10. Changes to Terms


We may revise these Terms at our discretion. Any modifications will be posted here, and your continued use of Airlog after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our Terms.


11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction


These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to any conflict of law principles. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Republic of Cyprus.


12. Severability and Waiver


12.1 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed from the remaining provisions, which will remain in full force and effect.


12.2 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.


13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Airlog regarding your use of the app, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or proposals (whether oral, written, or electronic).

14.1 Feedback
We welcome your feedback and suggestions about Airlog. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate it into the app without any obligation to you.
